Sounds like you have the right mindset as far as how things will go once your baby is born. We were very conservative and even though we were told 3-4 weeks after the Norwood, we planned on 8 weeks. That way we hopefully wouldn't be disappointed! And you're absolutely right about being your baby's advocate -- ask all the questions you want and feel free to question their processes/procedures to be sure your daughter's best interests are the forefront of all decisions.
